Learning Stream: Sustainable Operations

Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about how your organization can access up to 100% wage coverage for summer student employment.

The current Student Summer Skills Incentive provides wage assistance to impact organizations (nonprofit, charitable and social enterprise organizations) that offer career-related summer jobs for students going into university or community college. This year, the Government of Nova Scotia, Department of Labour Skills and Immigration (LSI) and the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) are collaborating to combine the provincial SKILL WIL program with ICTC’s WIL Digital program for a combined wage subsidy of up to 100% of wages.

Applications for the NS SKILL WIL program must be submitted by January 31, 2023, with applications for ICTC’s WIL Digital program beginning late February or early March.
