SUMMARY:Eggs & Kites: A Day to Celebrate Spring and Support Peace in Ukraine
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 16th\nMorning Children’s Program $15/family\,\nLunch $10/ adult\, $5/child\nAfternoon activities by donation (fundraiser) \nSpring 2022 arrives filled with the hope of new beginnings and the sorrows of war. The days warm\, and the birds return giving hope for a new year even as friends around the world struggle for freedom. In an attempt to hold both joys and grief we offer this spring gathering. \n● Morning activities are child-focused\, filled with egg decorating\, an egg hunt\, crafts\, and games.\nNote for families coming for the morning program: Please bring treats to share. “Deanery fairies” will hide them in the woods while the children decorate their eggs and play. At 11:30 Ollie the Owl will lead them on a collaborative treat hunt. Before heading home the treats will be shared out amoung all participating 🙂 \n● The afternoon is a time for people to come together to support Ukraine and Peace through art and kite building.
